ESR’s hovedtjeneste som vi i 20 år har levert til headhuntere og bedrifter er vår semi-search (research) tjeneste, som i henhold til en detaljert profil spesifikasjon er basert på at vi kartlegger de dyktigste og sterkt anbefalte talentene som arbeider hos kundens konkurrenter og eller i parallelle bransjer. Vi tar så direkte kontakt med de utvalgte for grundig telefon screening, samt gjennomfører ytterligere kvalitetskontroll igjennom vårt omfattende nettverk (vi har en database med 150 000 anbefalte kandidater og kilder). Finale kandidater på “short listen” blir deretter presentert til våre kunder, som så selv gjennomfører ansikt-til-ansikt intervjuer av finalistene.

Enkelte ganger ønsker våre klienter at ESR skal håndtere hele rekrutteringsprosessen (både research-delen og siste del av rekrutteringsprosessen). Når vi påtar oss slike tradisjonelle headhunteroppdrag tilbyr vi en 6 måneders kandidatgaranti som betyr at vi uten ytterligere kostnad, bortsett fra direkte kostnadsutlegg for kandidat ved reiser etc. finner frem til en ny kandidat hvis det skulle være behov for dette. Tradisjonelle headhunteroppdrag utgjør i overkant av 20% av alle de rekrutterings oppdrag vi påtar oss. Totalt har ESR siden 1997 utført over 700 såkalte tradisjonelle headhunter (Executive Search) oppdrag. Med vår sterke kompetanse til å vurdere kandidater bistår vi våre kunder med å hjelpe dem til å å lære kjenne hvem de vurderer for en stilling, for å redusere risikoen for feilansettelse. Vi bistår også investeringsvirksomheter som ønsker å gjennomføre en grundig due diligence av ledergruppen i selskapet de vurderer å investere i, samt styret. Denne tjenesten er inkludert i vår full-search tjeneste. Vår assessment tjeneste går lengre enn tradisjonelle bakgrunn/profil sjekk, med målsetning å avdekke en kandidats svakheter, styrker og personlighet, samt avgi en egen vurdering for kandidats sannsynlighetsgrad for suksess. TALENT MAPPING »

Når det er behov for å rekruttere flere kandidater med tilsvarende profil, så anbefales vår grundige kartlegging av hele markedet for identifisering av de aller dyktigste, som er sterkt anbefalte, og som ikke er aktive jobbsøkere. Denne ”Target list”servicen er et viktig hjelpemiddel for både bedrifter og rekrutteringsfirmaer som selv ønsker å gjennomføre telefonintervjuene. Vi tilbyr full opplæring i research på ESR’s opplærings senter i Los Angeles, California. Deltakerne som tar del i våre populære 2 dagers workshops kommer fra både de tradisjonelle headhunter virksomhetene, profesjonelle rekrutterere fra Fortune 500 bedrifter, samt de som ønsker å bli profesjonelle freelance researchere. Vi dekker hele research prosessen fra A til Å, som inkluderer å fastsette en best mulig research strategi, utarbeidelse av kravprofil, identifisering av target bedrifter og oversikt over potensielle kandidater som skal kontaktes. Christian er en ledende ekspert i research, headhunting og assessment. Han er grunnleggeren/CEO av ESR og hans filosofi er at man kan lykkes med enhver rekruttering når man har en riktig kravprofil og research strategi. Christian har vært involvert i over 3500 rekrutterings oppdrag av ledere, spesialister og styremedlemer, som har resultert i en ansettelsegrad på 90%.

Før han etablerte sitt research firma i 1997, arbeidet Christan som research associate for to av verdens ledende headhunter organisasjoner; A.T. Kearney i Skandinavia og Ward Howell (TMP) i Los Angeles og Chicago. I forkant av sin karriere i rekruttering etablerte han en avis som dekket jobbmarkedet. Han har i tillegg skrevet flere bøker om psykologi og rekruttering, inklusive “Secrets of the Executive Search Experts“, – den amerikanske bestselgeren om rekruttering, som presenterer ESR’s research metodolgi.

Christian graduerte med en BBA fra Pacific Lutheran University, WA i 1991. Han studerte psykologi ved Harvard og gjennomførte sine African-American studier ved California State University.
